Tomorrow (30th of April), we have the second April New Moon but this time in Taurus ♉
A New Moon is an opportunity for setting intentions & new beginnings, and with Venus being the ruling planet of Taurus, you’ll find love, beauty and money under the spotlight.
And at the same time, we’ll have a solar eclipse, which is when the moon passes between the moon and Earth, blocking out the sun, which intensifies the power & feelings of the new moon.
Eclipses bring about transformation & change; be still in the space between and listen.
Higher Guidance from Tarot
The Tower fell out of the pack as I shuffled my tarot deck, seeking guidance to share. Although this card can be pretty off-putting at first glance, most people would consider it a bad card, a bit like Death.
But as with all Tarot cards, there are no bad cards.
Instead, this card is intriguing; it depicts a lightning bolt striking a tower and people seemingly falling from the Tower. Lightening is energy & shocking, and this sudden surge of energy & shock appears to have come from nowhere; what happens when something is shocking?
It reveals something, and with revelations come breakthroughs. And this lightning bolt can appear when we’re out of alignment in some area of our life; personal, career, goals etc.
It’s here to cut through the lies or illusions you’ve been telling yourself. After a Tower experience, you will grow stronger, wiser and more resilient as you develop a new perspective on life you did not even know existed.
You may be able to see the cracks forming and take action before the whole structure comes tumbling down, creating a massive transformation.*

Linking the New Moon & Tarot
So if we go back to the Taurus New Moon, where love, beauty and money could be under the spotlight, what will be revealed under this New Moon?
The April Full Moon was all about balance in relationships, and now this new moon focuses on love.
Taurus is an earth sign; I’m getting a feeling of deep connection to Earth or to someone close. So take note of your relationships; anything unresolved after April’s Full Moon now is the chance to revisit it and declare an intention of change.
Beauty; now this is an interesting one. What does this mean for you? The beauty of the planet, ourselves, nature, each other, beauty within…what needs to come through, if anything?
And money.
Under the power of a new moon and solar eclipse, now’s the time to go big with your intentions around money. Leave behind any unhelpful money beliefs.
