Was it in business, at work, at home, to friends?
If I really think about it, I can’t remember the last time I said to someone, please, can you help me with this?
And it’s not something I’m proud of.
I’m quite a stubborn person by nature (anyone else an Aries?). This stubbornness can show up in many ways, sometimes in good ways, like building my website, when stubbornness became resilience.
And then the not so good is when I genuinely need help & support, but I’m too stubborn to ask for it because I worry people will think less of me.
I worry that I should know the answer already and be able to figure it out.
I worry that I’ll show my weakness.
I worry about bothering other people with my problems.
I worry that I should be able to grow my business all on my own and not have to ask for help.
A good ole’ catch up.
Then yesterday, I had a catch up with my friend Georgia Mullis, and we were chewing the fat on our business plans & goals when Georgia openly said that she needed help to grow & uplevel her business.
She wants to do this through collaborations, talks, partnerships etc. And sharing each other’s messages and posts on social media or talking in each other’s group is a way to grow. (watch this space for our collaboration, it’s gonna be a good one!)
I love how open & honest Georgia is.
This is vulnerability & action all in one, and boy, do I need some of that.
As I write now, I realise that asking for help is my vulnerability—my kryptonite.
And by not asking for help, I’m not being honest with myself and not being honest with you, my community.
So here I am today, asking for your help to help my business grow.

–Share any of my offerings from my website on your social channels or by word of mouth
-If you’ve had a Reiki session, Reiki & Tarot, Healing Circle or been part of the Self-Sare programme, write a testimonial post on your social channels and tag me in. I’m not great at sharing my testimonials, so any help here would be A-Maz-Ing
Let’s talk money
So this is another thing Georgia, and I talked about. Georgia is the Essential Oils, Queen. I’ve had the lemon, peppermint, orange & lavender ones from her, and they really are special.
I keep meaning to buy some more from her, but I’ve got a bit of a thing for t-shirts from The Spark Company, and their email algorithm isn’t doing my purse any favours.
